1. Board Overview
Two-channel 500Msps AD, two-channel 1.2Gsps DA FMC daughter card, realizes the synchronous acquisition function of two-channel 14-bit, 500Msps ADC, and realizes the synchronous playback function of two-channel 16bits, 1.2Gsps DAC. Complying with the VITA 57 standard, the board can be directly used with VME/VXS/AMC/VPX/PCIe FPGA carrier board . HDL firmware design for Xilinx FPGA is released synchronously with this board. The ADC device of the board adopts ADI's AD9684 chip, and the DAC device adopts ADI's AD9122. Users can configure the working status of the chip through the SPI interface. The ADC chip contains two channels of digital down converter (DDC), each DDC contains 4 cascaded signal processing stages: a 12-bit frequency converter (NCO) and three half-band extraction filters supporting 2, 4 and 8 divisions. The sampling clock can use an external input clock or be provided by the on-board clock chip. The board is mainly targeted at applications such as software radio, direct RF storage and broadband signal acquisition and playback.
