1. Board Overview
This daughter card is a FMC board for the high speed AD9152 DAC and AD9680 ADC. It provides customers with up to 2GHz of usable analog bandwidth and a JESD204B interface to quickly prototype a variety of wideband RF applications.
Includes 1 AD chip AD9680, on-chip dual-channel, 14-bit, 1GSPS analog-to-digital conversion. This analog-to-digital converter can achieve 80dBc spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) performance and 61.4dBFS signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) when converting 1GHz input, while the total power consumption per channel is 1.65W. The DAC in the kit is a dual-channel, 16-bit, 2.25GSPS AD9152, with an SFDR of 82 dBc and a maximum sampling rate of 2.25GSPS, which can generate multi-carriers up to the Nyquist frequency. AD9528, a low-jitter clock generator provides low-power, multi-output clock distribution functions with low jitter performance, and is also equipped with an on-chip PLL, VCO and two VCO dividers.
2. Performance indicators
- FMC interface, supports 2-way AD input and 2-way DA output.
- Two-way AD, AD uses the AD9680 chip, which integrates two 14-bit high-speed ADCs with a sampling rate of up to 1GSPS and a physical interface of SMA.
- Two-way DA, DA uses AD9152 chip, which has 16-bit resolution, maximum input data rate of 2.25Gsps, 50 ohm impedance, and physical interface of SSMB.
- The clock uses a temperature compensated crystal oscillator 256.25MHZ, 1ppM, and the chip is AD9528.
- Support external clock input, access the clock chip through the SMA interface, and input the frequency multiplication to the AD and DA chips.
- The size of the FMC card is 69mm x 90mm. The size of the mounting hole is 2.7mm.

3. Software supports
AD DA based on JESD204B interface and supports the company's K7, V7, KU, VU9P, Zynq, and ZU board test example programs.
